A definite improvement, thanks Congo, can see you were quite busy with the rivet gun  ;)

Cheers' Dakpilot

Yes mostly DD 430,s and I think I used some cherry-max and some huck rivets also.Though none of them were happy rivets if you know the term.

Yes please! and if you are still looking for perfection, a little work on the red emergency canopy release bar to improve the resolution? shading/lighting would be the last imersion killer in this cockpit solved.

Perhaps a little smeer of palm oil to give a bit of shine  ;)

Really appreciate all your improvements, please dont take my request seriously  8) am sure all the "just a bit more" demands are annoying  :)
there are probably more pressing demands at the palm oil plantation, lol

Cheers Dakpilot

Just extract to wherever you have your P-38 Cockpit folder stored. Ive updated link with the correct patch as the first was not, this one has shadowing added plus the friction tape wrap under the adel clamps

Dak,

I thought about doing something with the emergency egress pulls but being a mirrored part it becomes somewhat problematic and the same with the canopy frame as it is used for the rear frame also and I've obsessed over this one enough. Maybe perfection on my next cockpit. If I make it out to my old job site and can shoot some detailed photos of the 38 pit I may improve this one in the future. Just trying to decide which one I'll do next. Anyway, Palm oil production is down at Kisantu and we can't spare any of the precious oil as it is all being used in Chicken a la Mwamba and Palmolive soap.

Thanks for your thoughts on this  :) i will patiently let you come up with any solutions!

Wiring now looking nice and tidy!

MMM.. Mwamba chicken and a case of Primus straight from the freezer! dont want to upset the palm oil production then  ;)

Look forward to your next project, take it easy

Cheers, Dakpilot
