My opinion is that we only need one ship of each class type in order to build missions.
Duplicating models seems pointless, unless they are significantly different in appearance.
Were Musashi and Yamato very different?

In their 1944 Leyte time styles, Musashi had less 127mm AAAs than Yamato.
Yamato had 12x AAAs, Musashi had 6x AAAs.
In exchange for it, Musashi might have 6x more Triple 25mm MG.

I know a modder is trying to make Musashi 1944 based on hacking this Yamato MOD, but I don't know when he will finish it and be able to release it ..... or unfortunately canceled.

After installation I can see the ship in FMB, but it doesn't show up during actual gameplay, also it cant be placed as a stationary object. Can anyone here help? My IL-2 version is 4.12.2 + VP modpack

EDIT: changed to the version with seaplane and it worked.

Kinda bumping this and I agree that "Musashi" would be nice and I also thought many times how about "alternative timeline" fictious Super-BB's for USA,GB, Germany and Japan!? Wouldn't that be awesome!? Oh and still hoping for "Hood" and other ships but that's another story... ;)

I'm trying to get the 'No Seaplane' version of the Yamato to work, after reading that when engaged these seaplanes were flown off the ship,I have religiously followed the read me,using the relevant texts given within the download to do this, but it's not showing up in game.

You can view the Yamato in the objects window, minus the seaplane but when you go into game the ship is missing, could any fine fellow help me solve this please.

Here is my log.

I conclude that your ships are badly installed!
