no it is not the same, when you overwrite the old ones you may be keeping some file that is clearly creating problems (just one is more than enough). So please delete (or move out of the way) the three folders and install the fresh ones from the mod activator recently downloaded, then launch the modactivated game and verify that everything works before installing any new mod

okay, i did what you said, started again and...60 % CTD. I did what is explained in the article about it, but the situation that is assumed there is that i have a working installation, and after a new plane installed it does 60 % CTD, but i don't have any mod installed.

there isd a contraddiction between:

1)I don't have any mod installed

2) and after a new plane installed it does 60 % CTD (this looks a mod to me)

I would suggest for you to have a vanilla 4.10.1 working then you install just the mod activator (no new planes, nothing else) then launch the game as it is

if you have any doubt follow this

The thing is, I don't have any mod installed (mod folder empty except "Mapmods" and "STD".) Or is it possible that there are mods located anywhere else ? But when I start, it does CTD at 60 %  :(
What do you mean with have a vanilla 4.101 working ? Should I uninstall the game, reinstall until 4.101 again or just deleting the Modact files ?

You should also have a Files folder in the il-2 main directory and inside the File folder you will find a gui and cod folders and a file .rc. check also that your JGSME mods are all inactivated. Before starting launch JGSME and check that the right window is empty. Finally you will have to check that your buttons is the  latest version https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,97.0.html and that you have the correct air.ini file. To stay on the safe side  inactivate the air.ini putting a "-" in front and rename  "-original air.ini" to air.ini
then launch the game

Ok, files is all ok, JSGME mods all inactivated.
And buttons will be the newest when they're finished downloading.
Air.ini is correct too. Will try to launch the game now

Ok, now when I started the game I deleted the modact to see if vanilla 4.101 works, it made a stop at 95 % ! No CTD, it just stopped loading, and i couldn't even get back to desktop, nothing reacts, I had to completely restart the computer.
I definitely have no luck, I get problem over problem !

Okay, I've started using the two together (JSGME & MODS) and now it works.

Not quite sure what the problem was, but here you go. I've fixed it somehow... boy am I good  8)

Thanks for the suggestions  :)

LOL i did it that way too but what honestly I believe you had a conflict with too many buttons. A shitload of buttons comes out of the jsgme install of this mod. I only had a decent amount of luck when i put it directly into my mods folder. I can talk about this all day but thier needs to be one standard and one standard only. So if and when you started to crash, you probably deleted all the buttons files you could find (which the majority are in the jsgme is you installed that way) so the MODS folder portion could work. And bam!! there ya go. hehe

There was no need to delete the modactivator to verify if stock version works you just go to JGSME select the 00_Stock_4101m and bring it to the right side in this way  you are sure that you are using the unmodded ilfb.exe. What most probably has happened is that you have deleted the Files and MODS folders but kept the 156K il2fb.exe (modded) this exe is not able to launch an unmodded game it will stop loading at 95%. So no worries just use the big 4,442 Kb exe and you will have the vanilla up and running

I had the same problem, I did what Frankiek explained in the last post (the one just above yours) and it worked.

I think that is in UP. the SAS modact does not have return to stock option in JSGME, but thanks for reminding me to put it in the hotfix. It will be out tomorrow or sunday. :)
