Uh, I slammed it in my UP install, added all the ini entries, but I still get a CTD at 70%.

I've found with the more recent mozilla updates that the translator button/plugin I had is dead, so,.. I wonder if there has been any further updates to this bird by the Kodama team?

You need to check you have inputed the correct air, plane and weapon txt lines into their correct files, also what 'buttons' are you using in DBW?

Before I accidentally killed my DBW & DBW 1916 following an (aging hardware) HDD crash, it worked for me using buttons version 9.7.
Although I think the standard DBW buttons will also work too - if I remember, this Kyushu, is the first A/C (aircraft) I added to my standard/stock/vanilla DBW and it worked then.

I apologise to sound condisending to you, I do not mean too, sometimes in the rush to get 'into the blue', mistakes are made without being noticed - in real life this kills pilots and crew/passengers... so don't pull out your hair yet please :D

I have the plane, and the 2 other variants - Shinden field mod and Shinden Kai, all working in DBW1.71 and without the need for any buttons. I just unzipped and placed the folders in #DBW and then added the air.ini line ... nothing more should be necessary. Buttons are, thankfully, Praise the Lord and Hallelujah, no longer necessary for DBW - and not a day too soon either.

Anyway, start over, even download the files again just to be on the safe side, be certain you have the folders in #DBW at the correct depth and add the lines to air.ini.

And maybe a silly tip, but be sure that the game loads BEFORE you add the lines to the air.ini. Maybe something else is causing a ctd. And if you fixate on the Shinden, you may never realize it is something else causing the ctd. This has happened to me more than once ...
