Thankyou  Red_Fox90  :) what a great improvement! look even better in game

As a way of saying thanks (if you can stand the innacuracies of the oil cooler intake) try this

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,8908.12.html

(my post halfway down) as a way of really updating the "stock" F4U cowlings, props and spinners, a nice round cowling in cockpit view is worth it, imho, plus from the right angle screen shots are much better!

Try the cowlings on an F-4UD, and load up with your HVAR (hope you have the  new wheels) looks great!

Just dont load up the full complement of drop tanks  ;)

Thanks again for all this eye candy  :) it really does improve immersion

Cheers, Dakpilot

Thanks  SAS~Malone, yes am already using those great 58gall on my F-4F and what a great improvement they are  :)

But the F-4UD uses the 178 gall and 154 gall tanks, i didn't want to make too much of a hint due to the massive amount of
work Redfox has just done  :) :)

Lol! with all this and what you sent me, it really seems someone is working on amphetamines today :P

Jokes apart, it's just flu and fever. And this is the last free week i'll have for some time, so if i can make something useful out of it, i'll be glad ;)

Thanks a lot for pointing me to the new cowlings Dak :)
BTW i don't really think those tanks need to be improved, but hey, maybe in the future. For now i'll try to address some really ugly things we've in Il-2.

The rockets are veeeery beautiful but unfortunately I've noticed game stutter whith this mod enabled.  :(
After performing some tests I can confirm the rockets as the cause. I wonder if someone else has experienced this and managed to get a solution...

Have not experienced this, what are your machine specs? Am not sure how a 72kb texture could induce stutters, but really i know nothing about graphics  :)

Are you talking about just having the rockets on the aircraft? or when fireing them, this mod only changes the visual look/texture of the rockets, not any effects.

Perhaps you made some other changes at the same time you introduced this mod?

I may have a clue about it, but as Dakpilot told you, if you could post your specs and log.lst it would be better than just trying to guess on my part ;)

Cheers
