I have installed the superpack, when I get start il2 up, the selector doesn't pop up. It automatically has the up3 loader pop up. Right when I get into the main menu the game quits out. it has done that several times to me. HELP!

Make sure "enable UP3" is switched on in JSGME
then start Ultrapack

You get the UP3 Splashscreen upon start up,or not ?
if not then most likely need to switch UP3 on in JSGME

I'm a total newbie in UP, because i have activated this superpack only a couple of days ago...
Before i have a stock 4.11m patch for 18 months...so i decided to reinstall the game, upgraded to 4.10.1m and added this pack! Part 11 needs the alternate download links, the original one seems missing...
But installation was succesfull!

Hello! I'm new to this game and i just read good things about UP3 so i decied to give it a try...

Looking on SAS site, i saw some UP3 RC4 patches, "without obfuscation mod", patch pack 104 and i just saw this. This is the ONLY pack i need to download, right? if i download this i don't need to download any other patches or anything else?

Another question is, can i run this with a v4.12.2 game? or it will not work if i do?

If you want to have a working UP3 RC4 on your PC, yes.

UP3 without obfuscation & Patch Pack 104 can be installed on top of it. While the first mod .. unobfuscates UP3, the Patch Pack will fix some bugs and add some more features (please see the readme for details). It was developed for a better online gameplay on the SAS Dogfight Server in first place; it's also nice to have it offline, though

No. UP3 works with 4.10.1
It is possible to install it above a 4.12.x copy however. UP3 will pick the files it needs and "jump" back to 4.10 then. If you want to try it, better make a backup, though..

You need to add this, if you want to play on the server. (DLing now, so I hope this brings me UP to date/**edit yes, that is the icing the cake needed).

to above post, I just unpackeded, and then pasted over 4.13.1 install, just to see if I could skip the uninstall, reinstall, patch up, process, ..and it works.

I just rolled selector back to Stock, and it came up Up again, so looks like 4.13.1 is gone.
