Hangman,

Well, its back to basic principles mate.  Can you fly anything else on this map?  Can you set up a simple fmb for a test or test a number of the DAF missions directly from the Single Mission set provided?  Lets get some data and your error can be figured out.

It's some problem in that North Africa map because I can't even open it in FMB

just a quick question from me:

is it possible to add the WW version of this campaign over his previously released add-on packs (V3) without any side effects? or should I do everything manually;

btw, thank you very much WW for those great addon packs! they spared me at least 3 hours worth of adding everything manually; plus there is a working version of the LGD mod as well :)

Griffon, if you have the original packs, you can run them all except the #DBW_MOD_Static pack.  Be sure to disable that one and then enable #DBW_MOD_Static_DAF.  Note, you can have both packs in GME, just only use one or the other depending upon what arena you are flying in.  If you are using a campaign such as DAF which uses all of the new Epervier objects then use the DAF pack.  If running a DCG campaign like one of Lonestar's or some other campaign, then use the original Static pack.  Both cannot be enabled at the same time.

Main difference between "Static_DAF" and "Static" is the use of Epervier's new objects in DAF.  Though DAF does not contain many of the static mods which enhances stock DBW such as carrier crew.

Same problem as hangman.

Looks like there is a missing object somewhere and it is causing  the map not to load?  I can see the map in the mapmods folder in #DBW, so it is something else I think.

I'm trying to figure this out.  I'm going to reinstall all of this campaign with a clean 1.7.1 install.  I probably messed something up.

Let you know

as I am starting to become increasingly a kind of lazy guy when it comes to install, reinstall, switch and turn off stuff, I will add Eperviers new stuff once and for all into my install;
I am quite used to mess with all the inis by now, so this will not be a major problem I guess;

anyhow, thanks for the quick answer and once more thank you very much for the great add on packs WW, as said, you saved me from quite an eveningĀ“s long session adding all that content manually myself :)

and of course kudos to all involved in creating the fantastic piece of sim, IL2 has become by now....

This campaign absolutely ROCKS! It was well worth the effort loading all the ini's. Many many thanks for this!

I'm getting a 30% crash.  I tried using the supplied ini's, I've cut and pasted into a copy, and I've used Winmerge.  I still get a ctd at 30%.  The only other mods I've added that affect the STD folder are planes (which just change the 'air'.)

Recommend resetting the inis to default DBW 1.7.1 (or for the inis specific to this campaign, DBW 1.7), and then using the #DBW_MOD_Static_DAF download/pack.  It includes everything from both the mods and related ini entries.  Simply save the pack into jsgmemods folder and then enable.

It cost me one and a half day to get the campaign + addons installed right but it is well worth it.

Very good campaign!

All kinds of vehicles driving around on the airfield; while taking off crashing into a P40 with guiding soldier on left wing taxiing in the middle of the runway...

I fined the pilot.

Anyway, very entertaining and gripping.

Thank you!!
