EDIT: No, its beyond cumbersome. :D
I would say this: Work with what you have.
I'm no expert on campaign and mission building, but I know that one of the big things about DBW 1.7 was the consolidation of the planes list.
It made sense. No one needs 14 different types of X.
Same goes for just about all else. DBW is very extensive in its content. And while I appreciate the drive toward accuracy this seems a bit extreme. I'm no newb to mods but this...its just insanity to have to add all those lines.
And before someone says "Well don't use it then"-trust me, I'm not. Sucks too as my favorite campaigns are north afrika, but I'm not going to sit and take hours away to add the proper lines to the proper places that will have to be redone with the next DBW release.
Like I said, too cumbersome for too little gain for my taste. Hope for a simplified, user friendly version in the future.

Why the negative approach?  I downloaded and installed these six addons real easily.  I read the threads first, all of them, then followed the instructions and in a short time found myself looking at all the new stuff in FMB.  I really didn't think it would be beyond most people.

As long as I am around I will support my work, that goes for when they upgrade to DBW 1.8.  Some of the new objects might even make it in to the next repack, especially if people show an interest and tinker with them.

Whatever happens I always keep a full Vanilla backup on a spare portable drive and will start from scratch again as required.  When DBW 1.8 comes along my campaigns will be up to the current spec, plus whatever else I consider is needed.

Lol!  :D

Hey man I love your work, but DAMN! Having to add all those lines one by one is killer! Its not that I cant wrap my head around it, its just that I don't care to spend the time in it.

Use winmerge. Open the sample ini and your actual ini (in #DBW) side by side, look at the differences and copy the things you don't have in your #DBW ini (shown in yellow) from the sample one.

Many thanks for your campaign Monty27, I have already begun the necessary mumbo jumbo tweaking to adapt it to my 4.09 game and make it playable on the blue side ...  :)

Hi Monty, your Campaign looks very interesting, just to be sure, do you confirm that it is an Allies Campaign only?
Thanks,

... tu en seras le tout premier destinataire Epervier ... mais patience car il y a 55 missions à désenvouter et je n'ai qu'un seul grigri ... :D

... and you will be the first recipient Epervier ... but be patient because there are 55 missions to unbewitch and I only have a single lucky charm ...  :P

Sure thing, the historic timeline, OOB, detailed briefings, ground battles, tracks and mission structure will get you started.  It would be nice to fly the equivalent campaign with Bf109s, FW190s and Stukas.  Take a look at the vehicles too, the Crusader III doesn't appear until Alamein II, in October 1942, the Tiger Tank lands in Tunisia late November 1942.

The OOB notes will also help to estimate and fix the location of Luftwaffe units on the map on the right dates.  Pehaps the biggest challenge will be to build up the Fleigerkorps bases to the level of detail you will see in this campaign at Gambut, Amiriya LG 91 Airstrip, the Alamein Box, Mersah Matruh, Sirte and Ben Gardane.  The local scenery detail is huge and I would recommend trimming whichever side you are not flying.
