I am a little confused about which add-on I have to install now. I cant d/l from gamefront either so I assume link at media fire on page 10 of this thread is correct one for d/L? Says it is added to page 1?? Then there is another patch of 10mb on this page, do you have to install this also?

On page one you will need the three parts of the campaign plus the patch (Part 4) The media fire link for the  DAF objects will be enough to play the campaign.

The DAF_objects have now been incorporated into the larger Static objects here:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,19921.0.html

but i see these are gamefront as well, so that mediafire link on page 10 should get you flying in the Desert Airforce  :)

Hi Butch

The four downloads are parts of a single whole, so unzip them all into the same folder, overwriting if asked.  Then take a look inside the folder called YOUR MAIN IL2 FOLDER - The folders in there follow the same structure as YOUR MAIN IL2 FOLDER - the folders are missions and paintschemes.  There is also an Optional folder, just ignore it mate.

Hi Monty, thanks, I seem to have managed to get them into 1, and loaded successfully!!

Problem now is the big patch D/Loads. I have a 70% CTD. So I have tried the campaign without them, and got thru the 1st mission. Love it!! I think the smoke coming out of the engine is a pretty cool touch.
I look forward to the rest.
Thanks.

Don't know why but I'm xrashing in the middle of the 3rd mission. Gazala. I am strictly using wind's mod packs so this is kinda strange. I didn't add anything from the optional folders because that is too much work lol. Not sure if this campaign will work for me. :-\

On the first mission I can't get my plane to start. My two wingmen start their planes but never take off. Is there something I'm missing in the Hurricane's start up? I increase mixture to 120% and press I but nothing happens. I REALLY want to play this so any help is greatly appreciated.

OK my friend, well this campaign is currently in a transition phase:  The original JSGME packs were the first step, however, the newest 'Special Edition' is designed for 'The Full Monty' install and is being re-skinned too.

It won't be long now and well worth it!
