propeller propwash effect
« on: February 24, 2012, 08:34:08 AM »

Hi guys, this was and is a very immersive feature introduced by Zloy PetrusHko in his ATM mods which works beautifully with the 409. Then the 4.10 version introduced adjustable winds, gusts antd turbulence but let this one apart so now I'm asking if someone here has been able so far to add this feature in 4.101 or is willing to do that!

It was a good mod, but the prop-wash wasn't quite tuned properly and many players didn't like it.

I've got the old version sitting around and one day wanted to look into bringing it back (as well as adding jet wash/flame outs). Alas, don't have the time to do so.

But +1 for this request :)

It's a good idea because after all a propeller is just there to keep a pilot cool.........if you don't believe me then just turn it off and watch him sweat ;D

not really in concept, but a jetwash effect could be made in a very similar fashion to a propwash effect. essentially, jetwash and propwash are the force of the exaust/air being blown backwards from the engine.
