Awesome!  Now we simply need a QMB mission where either US or IJ simply fly in with aircraft loaded with only Budweiser or Sapporo and the party is IDed by grid location.  Find it, land, and join the festivities.  Now, all we need will be some US female entertainers and a model of Bob Hope!   :)

So beautiful !

But I still have my problem ! I have downloaded again today, and then I unzip the archive, take the MAPMODS folder and copy it in my DBW, check the line, but still... it does not work. So, then, I try a second time to load, and it seems to work sometimes... but generally, it does not work, and the game even crash sometimes... this is very strange !

This is the error message I have on the FMB screen (down the screen) :

World.land().LoadMap()error.java.lang.RuntimeException: Landscape'Benghalli/load.ini' loading error.

If I change the load.ino for an older one, it is OK.

Also, I have a special file in the root of my game, named hs_err_pid62156, and this is what it says :

Code: [Select]
An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.

I really do not know what to do. In the case the map loads, it unfortunately looks very ugly... I would be very happy to know what happens, because the screens I see here are absolutely beautiful, and I am sure a very good work has been put in this map !

Edit by UP~Boomer
I edited your post to use code # rather than the quote
helps to not make the post so long and is easier to copy to notepad to look it over
hope you don't mind  :)

Gaston

That indicate that your game is missing some of the textures of the map.

Let's try two more things. First, are you running your game in the OpenGL, perfect mode? If you are running it in the "Excellent" mode, there is a chance that the map would not load, and even if it is, it will look ugly. Thats because I didn't put all the necessary files for the "Excellent" mode, I thought that most of the players are running the game in perfect mode now.

Second, go to the MAPMODS, then maps section of your version of the game, find all the folders corresponding with this map, and delete them. Then extract map somewhere on your computer and open the "MAPMODS", then "maps" and then copy-paste the folders by hand in your game. But be careful to put them exactly how they are in the downloaded files.

For example: folder with the textures named "Avala" you must place in the "_Tex". The path is like this: MODS>MAPMODS>maps>_Tex folder. Just follow the folders names in the downloaded map. It is important to follow folder structure.

Other than that I really don't know what can be the problem  :(

Mmmmh... maybe I am just in Excellent mode, because my PC is not a new one... but I know I am in OpenGL, this I am sure ! Should have a check about the image mode though...

You can go to the conf.ini file and then under [Render_OpenGL] section see the "HardwareShaders=1" line. If it is "1" then you are in perfect mode, if it is "0" then it is excellent.

My computer is old also, but runs Perfect, if it is the problem, I suggest to try it  :) Maybe it will work.
