In my DBW install I already have several smoke objects that have the same numbering as these effects:

Now I tried renumbering your stationary and technics entries starting at 23 ... 24 etc ... but that did not work and I gt a ctd at 70% - not unexpected.

So my question is, how do I change your entries so that the mod can be used in its entirety while still keeping the other smoke/birds mods? I'd really like to get the flares working over airfields ... this seems like a wonderful idea and a great help ...

I just installed it in HSFX6 and have no problems so far.
EDIT: The game crashes when I press the Quick Mission Builder. I guess that's a problem.

I've run into a problem with a conflict between this mod and the Default FOV mod by sanka found here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,19698.0.html

What happens is, the FOV now starts at 70 degrees and you have to zoom out; I keep the default at 100 degrees. If I place the FOV mod ahead of your mod the game freezes at mission start (through FMB) and then I have to back out.

The conflict is file BC4A3CB2FB0F0B58 which is in both folders.

Hope you can help here because I need sanka's mod but I'd like to keep yours as well.

Hey agracier, I am having the same problem, the "Chimney smoke and birds" MOD causes a conflict between the two mods. Instead of having the Chimney smoke and runway lights seperate in my Stationary Objects i have two sets of "Chimeny Smoke" objects. HOWEVER the "Flare" object DID work. But all in an i played around with the Chieny smoke trying to get it to work, even changed the numeric values like you said (to 20-24) but i eventually took the whole Chimeny smokes out.

Now My Question, lol. I cant seem to get ANY of the effects to work.  :( I have dropped the Static.ini, the Stationary.ini into their respective folders, and i have droped the rest in the DBW# folder like ive done 100 times before for other mods. But for some reason when i request runway lights i get no resonse from ground via radio chatter(no surprise), or lights. Nor do any of my signal flare work.   :'(

 I have DBW 4.101 and im testing on the Crete Map in FMB. I havent tested in a single player mission yet, but does this mod NOT work in Multiplayer? And ddo the lights and flare have to be placed directly on the runway?

I had trouble getting some of the runway lights to work as well. Some worked, some didn't. I can't remember the whole sequence, but I ended up with a sort of compromise between the two mods, disabling several entries and enabling some others.

Here is what my stationary.ini entries finally looked like:

What's the trick to make runway lights work? Simple test - Berlin Map - placed blue runway lights down the middle, assigned each to Blue, set time for 3AM, tried to land asking for runway lights to be turned on and nothing. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Been at this for hours with no joy. Edit:(Sorry - I'm running latest DBW)
