JSGME not working?
« on: March 03, 2012, 01:31:14 PM »

I've just finished a grueling week installing a vanilla DBW 1.71 and adding the new Desert Air Force Campaign. Everything seems to work but my JSGME folder. In order to get the folders in JSGME to work, I have to go into each JSGME folder, dig down to the DBW folder, and copy/paste the folder within to the game's #DBW folder. Activating  , or inactivating from JSGME.exe has no effect.
Now, I know I must have made some installation errors. I couldn't figure how to install the DAF-AT folder into JSGME and get it to work. Maybe the JSGME was already not working and I added all the folders to #DBW to get the campaign to work. My vanilla DBW 1.17 loads well, but the little preliminary adjustment window doesn't appear. The DAF works well. I copy/pasted the map mods folder from another DBW 1.71 but there was no change. I would like to know what I've done. Any help available? I'd be most greatful.

the preliminary adjustment window is now located in the Il-2 selector.
you want to adjust memory or switch from DBW to stock, use that program.

DAF works, so all is well?

Vanilla 1.71 works too, so all is well?

Thanks for the quick answer. I thought about a solution, and what I did, was to start the whole process over from 409m. Everything went smoothly, and it all worked out as it was supposed to. It was so simple. I don't know why I sweated the process so much. Anyway, the problem's solved.

cool!

it seems like a lot of installing and filemoving to do, and the result easily eats some 20-25 Gigabytes...
But worth it!
