FB.VI flying with No. 100 Group in the Intruder/Ranger role where fitted with AI Mk.XV (AN/APS-4) radar.
Not all of them though. Mk.XV was actually a surface search radar, but could be used in the air interception role as well. Nowhere near as capable as AI Mk.VIII or Mk.X, but quite useful in the intruder role nevertheless (better than nothing, eh? ). It had pretty good ground resultion - logically - and could be used for navigation.

@Doc: Mk.XV had a tiny CRT display (quite a disadvantadge). Therefore using the standard fighterbomber cockpit (as opposed to my radar pits) might actually be more fitting for this variant. Maybe Thunda could comment on this?

I think this completes the Mossie nightfighter variants nicely, i actually thought about asking for this model a few weeks ago, but did not want to sound ungratefull for the other great mods yourself and sputnik provided at the time.

Oh yeah!!! I was going to ask you or sputnik to make this one- very important for late war intruding over German airfields- dont suppose it has the napalm drop tanks? I posted a (long winded!) message on your MkXXX thread about that loadout, for 'Firebash' missions.

Either way, great news, thanks- might try my hand at skinning if I can find a template for the mossie- there is a really cool 515sqn FB MkVI with this nose....

J'ai voulu tester ce mosquito Intruder sur mon installation DBW 1.7 et, crash au lancement en mission rapide.
Lelog.lst indique :
INTERNAL ERROR : Can't open File 3DO/Plane/MOSQUITOFBVIin (Multi1)/Ordnance1.mat
WARNING : Object -3Do/Plane/MOSQUITOFBVIin (Multi1)/Ordnance1.mat of class 'TMaterial' not loaded
Pourtant, dans ma version, je possède aussi le Mosquito "Tse-Tse" ???

J'ai l'impression que tu as le même problème que celui que j'avais signalé pour d'autres versions de Mosquito diffusées ces jours-ci !
Cherche dans les dossiers "plane" des Mosquito NF, tu devrais trouver le fichier manquant... et le tga associé !

I feel that you have the same problem I had reported for other versions of Mosquito broadcast these days!
Search in folders "plane" of the Mosquito NF, you should find the missing file ... and associated tga!

hi doc m8 great plane but have a wee prob  game loads but when picked crashes at load 30 per cent  shows in selction  window all fine any ideas  am running  dbw 1.71
