+1 request from me.

Gumpy gave me USN and IJN animation flags data.
I can use them in my MODs.

And RN, KM, RM flags are drawn by gio, we will release thier ships MOD in some months, and I will replace some existent MODs' flags.


But these Navy flags are not animated now.
Can anyone (skinner) draw these flags animated like USN/IJN size and format?

No, they need to be a series of textures named with index numbers.

FlagCountry_00.tga
FlagCountry_01.tga
...
FlagCountry_NN.tga

or something like that.

I don't expect it's quite as simple as that though...

But then all that is needed is a GIF animated picture disassembled and the different textures saved as 01/02/03...? that should be doable, even for me.

The Canadian flag in WW2 was different... the one today with the maple leaf came much later

I want to Canadian Navy flag on HMCS Bonaventure (Colossus class aircraft carrier) from 1957 to 1970.
I think this time flag is maple leaf one, isn't it?

Other flags also will be with Colossus class jets carrier or Clemenceau class aircraft carrier MODs.

Maple leaf come into effect for a Flag in Canada in 1965
First time Canada actually adopted there own Flag ,leaving behind the Union Jack Flag

I remember it well as I was just a kid in school in 1965
We started the day singing O Canada, the new national anthem
and ended the day with singing the old national anthem, God Save the Queen

From 1921 to 1957, Canadian Navy used old style Blue Ensign like here.

Umm... I feel Canadian_Blue_Ensign is better fit to HMCS Bonaventure.
