Also found that Fuel quantity should be reduced as well, for better take off performance, If loaded with much armaments.

Yes,yes,but I noticed a problem
If  I use the F9-8T model plus observer pod
Crashes of the picture
What is this anomaly?

 8) That is just cool. Even if the Navy didn't operate F-4s off Essex class carriers, but used F-8s. I guess they could have though. They could operate A-3 skywarriors and E-1s, so it's feasable. I subscribed to "Proceedings" for many yrs, the US Naval institute's magazine, and there were lots of articles on what type of planes operated best off which carriers.

The F-4s flew off the Midway class, and I think one of those is on the way.....in the expanded deck version she last served in.

I bet you have to have her going max speed into a bit of wind to get off the deck reliably. Some nice work.

Hi guys. Just wanted to say great work, modern Essexes are really getting along... One question if I may... Is the island model final or is there more detailed version planned for the future?

Do you say about version 2.00 or later ?
At version 2.02 , I think it is finished about 3D modeling.
When you feel something "less detailed" at version 2.02 , that's only a skin texture problem.
If someone can re-draw skin textures more realistinc... I can include them in my pack.

Im still on 4.09, so i cant install SCB-125. Is version 2.02  shown in the picture few posts above?
By less detailed I mean the all round look of the island, its very basic, original island is much more detailed,
as are the islands or other carriers in the sim... in my opinion.

Here are some pisc of CV-10 island and general:

A couple of beauty shots:
