I haven't flown for a while due to a broken finger, and now that I'm returning... I'm really hard pressed to choose between the 109 and the 190. With such exquisite cockpits, how can I?

Amazing work, Claymore! There's a good cockpit reference diagram in the Osprey "Duel: FW 190 vs. P-51 Mustang" volume I have, but I feel after you are done with these, I'll have to find a manual! So many gadgets and stickers - it's Hell if you don't understand German I tell you! :p

S!

Looks damn great :) AS of these new cockpit repaints/fixes for Fw190 and Bf109..stuck my neck out towards TD and asked if these could be added..Well, the answer was: No. Not because they are wrong but too big in size etc. Would be damned great to see these pieces of art included in an "official" TD patch :D Thoughts?

Well... why not ? it's possible to resize down from 1024 to 256 the tga files, that is exactly what Charlie Chap do with the previous repaints in HSFX and UP SFS archives, we lose legibility of reading of instruments but we can by-pass the problem easily by putting back the 1024 tga in Files or MODS :D

Will the A2, A3, A7 (and Sturm), D11 and D13 added in official patch too ?

Little update:

For the A3, and only for it, you may have the possibility to add your wife, girl friend or favourite pinup pic in stead of Lili Marlene, exactly like Oblt. Dietrich Wickop of 2./JG 2 at Tricqueville during summer 1942 with his wife photo.

This new panel for the A3 is the one that should have ever been en the A4; finally the FW series will be fully correct.
(mmmm...maybe Am I wrong on this?).

Also, the A5-A6 series had a similar panel and instrument choice than the A8 series, but some instruments in different positions with reference to the "A8 standard"...¿Are you aiming for a complete historic refurbish onf the entire series?

These cockpits would deserve by far to become the official ones...congratulations for the job and for the previous documentation effort also.

S!

Before becoming official these need a lot of re-sizing to fit within the IL-2 specs of running on lower end machines. But would be great to see these cockpits and DW's Bf109 cockpits in the official patch to finally bring these birds up to date :)
