Making the bombs explode in air

I have read several WWII aviation books where pilots set bombs to explode mid air to maximize shrapnel impact so is it possible to make this in IL-2

The Luftwaffe let SC250 or SC500 bombs fall in allied bomberformations...

IIRC, some German bombs (AB500 ???) do explode midair, about 50m above the ground. But it's used against ground targets.

Yes, the German AB bombs have an airburst fuse.
