Baltic states campaigns in 1940, update!
« on: March 22, 2012, 12:55:25 PM »

Quote
These are fiction static campaigns for the Baltic states, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
All are playing during Soviet invasion to those countries on 16th June 1940, when Soviet union crossed border of those countries.
In a fact, these countries were by the Soviet union occupy without a fight.

Campaings are dedicated for the Baltic states and for their independence.
I'm very glad, that those countries are again independence and for a future I wish them all the best!

In this pack you'll find three campaigns, for one country one campaing. There are called

- Spitfires over Estonia
- Latvian fighters
- We defended Lithuania

Estonian and Latvian campaigns have got 10 missions and Lithuanian has got 8 missions.

Your planes will be:
In Estonia you will fly on Spitfire Mk.I (twelve of those planes were in Great Britain ordered, but none was to the Estonia deliver).

In Latvia your main plane is Gladiator, but in some missions you will fly on Bristol Bulldog.

In Lithuania you will fly on MS 406 (thirteen of those planes were in France ordered, but none was to the Lithuania deliver).

Mods which do you need:
- Ultra Pack 3.0 with all RCs http://ultrapack.tuttovola.org/index.php/topic,4029.0.html
- Dark Blue World 1.6 https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,16539.0.html
- Bulldog https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,24863.0.html
- Hawker Hart (Osprey) https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/board,64.0.html
- Forgotten countries mod, this mod is with DBW and if you don't know how to install him, please open readme folder.

Many thanks for all skinners, without their work I couldn't make those campaings. Their names are in readme.

So, I hope that you are happy with those campaings and I hope too, that you will interested about those beautiful Baltic states.

Update, now with Bristol Bulldog and Hawker Hart + new Estonian ranks.

These are all information about my work. But if you don't want to read all this text, here are the most important information about it.

For playing those campaigns you need Ultra Pack 3.0 with all RCs, Dark Blue World 1.6, PWS-10 and forgotten countries mod - this mod is with DBW and if you don't know how to active him, please open readme folder. And of course these campaigns are fiction, because the Baltic was by the Soviet union in 1940 uccupy without a fight. But in this alternative history those countries made a fight before Soviet invasion.

All campaings are dedicated for people from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. So if you are from one of these countries, now you can fight for you national air force. :)

Great to see this campaign released Jirpilot1, it is an area that is of special interest to me.  I'm two missions into the Estonian part of it, superb, thank you very much.

Two of the skins you have used, the Spitfire and Magister, were made for a campaign I started some years back for UP 2, unfortunately I never got past mission three. :(

Here are shots of the skins I made for it.

These still needed finishing and coding.

The campaign started on one of kapteeni's maps and moved onto the stock Finnish Gulf, maybe I'll complete it one day. :-\

Your campaigns cover a sadly neglected area so are most welcome.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Thank you. I'm very glad that you like my work.

First I must thank you Mission_bug for your beautiful skins for Magister and mainly for Spitfire. Without skins for Spitfires I couldn't begin work on these campaigns. Your skins were very important for me indeed. Thanks again.

Those Estonian skins look very good, mainly that for Letov. It is a very pity that you have never completed your work, but maybe in the future you will complete it and than we will have two Estonian campaigns.

I situated this campaing on original Oleg's map Finnish gulf, because there are border between Soviet union which I needed.

Hello Jirpilot,

I downloaded and installed your campaign along with the PWS-10.  The EE and LT campaigns work fine, but the LV campaign gives me a Mission Load Error message.  Any ideas?

I wonder why a DGEN Kurland 1941 campaign was never done for those of us who have Ostfront?

Hi lyteyr,

I've just downloaded it and try again on my DBW 1.6. Everything works good. :-X Try to open all missions for Latvia in the FMB and then let me know, which mission does the "Load error". ;)
