Thanks for your replies and the link Mick, it's amazing these skinpacks are currently on top of the A&A downloads score.
Never thought of such...

I am not that surprised Armin, when you consider the number of skins, the historical research and brief presentation, and on top of that the artistic quality of your job, then you really deserve all the praise, this Armin, is the very least we can do, thank you for sharing with us and congratulate you for your artistry ...  ;)

I know that the internet generation more or less considers that a lot of things, among them other people's work, should be free, and of course it is so easy to download somebody's work with a few mouse clicks, and not even take the few seconds necessary to say THX ...

This is a very selfish attitude, and if we don't pay attention to it, more and more modders/skinners will be detered from sharing their masterpieces ...  ::)

What is your next project Armin ?  :P

Yesterday evening i was called over the phone by an reknown luftwaffe expert and book author. He requested my cap bon screenshots for use in his new book
(post more details when it is released). Isn't that crazy? I couldn't believe it.

I'm not fixed on projects at the moment except the junkers ju52 - slowly turning to the eastern front, etc. with wintercamouflaged ones (Demyansk and Stalingrad etc.). My aim is to cover all theatres of WWII it played an important role.
The Ju52 is still my favourite plane for skinning so always expect new skinpacks. Some RAF fighters between, maybe glider towing doubles i. e. He111Z with
Me321, perhaps C47 units and SM79, who knows - there are many well templates i'd like to work from. It's mainly depending how successful research is and - much more - how much time i got on my hands. Don't ask my wife how much she's enjoying her man sitting at photoshop all the time, except when he's at work :-X.
All those other guys constantly working on skins and/or new maps/3D models etc. surely can confirm this...

Anyway i'm glad you like my works and each feeback means much to me.

Thankyou for this great work  :) and now some recognition in print, great stuff! love yor JU-52 skins as well,
Somewhere is lurking an updated 3d model of JU-52 with 3 round engines, i have seen the pics, would love to see your skins on that model  :) The most used luftwaffe transport appearing in every campaign deserves some love  :)

Thanks a lot for your much appreciated feedback!  :)
I'm glad you like these odd transport planes - having 'studied' some books and a lot of reports it is a kind of tribute to all the WWII transportplane crews (especially the german, who simply had to suffer most) whose efforts were no lesser courageous and dangerous (but recognized far lesser) than those of
the glorious fighter pilots, in a lot of cases it even took much more skill.

@poltava
Eastern front Gigants were my first ones, maybe you missed this

Really excellent skins, cheruskerarmin, and I very much enjoyed reading the story and the screen-shots of the Cap Bon massacre. I knew the story, but I hadnt read it in so much detail. Thankyou.

I realise that this thread was a very long time ago, but does anyone have a link to the mission, as well as the skins?
