blurring in cockpit
« on: April 03, 2012, 02:18:58 AM »

Is it possible to add a "blurring" effect to the cockpit. In the same way you can adjust the pointer of your mouse which tracks the movement.
This may have been raised before, I am guessing it would have been done by now if it were possible. Just wanted to check tho.

By blurring I think you mean 'focusing'? As in having the center of the viewpoint focused and the surrounding area blurred slightly?

Am thinking along the lines of a shuddering effect. I find the static-ness of the cockpit too lifeless. I have the G-force and headshake up, which is an improvement but neither quite do it for me.

you could always use Trackir/Freetrack to get a better feel in the cockpit. I did!  :D

Looking outside helps

btw not even Cliffs of Dover has motion blur so I doubt this request will have positive results

lets face it this is a 2001 game :)

I am not trying to bag this game or the fact that its is an old engine, I am aware of this. I was hopping to spark an idea for someone with the ability to moddify, if it were possible that is.
