Well to be honest, the entire plane is goofed-up. I mean, just look at the engine intakes and gear doors... ridiculous. The u/c legs are definitely narrow, too...
To fix it, it would probably be best to create entirely new 3D, like Aviaskins Mig-3 project...

As some may have guessed, the Avia 534 Series is one of my favorite airframes. After Jero applied his wheel mod to the default B-534.IV, I began to wonder if the same could be done for the modded variants. After picking up some clues on the wheel mod threads, I did a few file swaps, and lo and behold, every Avia variant can now sport the round wheels just like the default version. Instructions are provided in the text below...

How to install PA_Jeronimo's Avia B-534 (Type IV) wheels onto Ranwers' Avia B-534 III, and Stoupa's Bk-534:

1. Ensure that Ranwers' Avia B.534-III, and Stoupa's AviaBk-534v1.9, are both functional as per their respective installation instructions. I have them installed in my #DBW folder, along with PA_Jeronimo's Mod Wheels V.5.

2. In Windows Explorer, locate the following files in Mod Wheels V.5\3do\Plane\AviaB-534:

GearC1_D0.msh
GearL1_D0.msh
GearR1_D0.msh
WheelDisc.mat
WheelTire.mat

Note; I found it easier, simply to open the AviaB-534 folder in a new window, to view these files. This will be handy later.

3. In the original explorer window, locate Ranwers' Avia B.534-III\3do\Plane\AviaB-534R, and backup the following files (not necessary, but always recommended):

GearC1_D0.msh
GearL1_D0.msh
GearR1_D0.msh

Note that there are no files for WheelDisc.mat, and WheelTire.mat.

4. Copy/Paste the files from step #2, into the AviaB-534R folder.

5. Do the same procedure with Stoupa's  AviaBk-534v1.9\3do\Plane\

AviaBk-534
AviaBk-534(de)
AviaBk-534(sk)

Note, there are 3 individual folders with this one.

6. Enjoy Jero's new wheels on all your Avias!

Thanks again to PA_Jeronimo for making the special adjustments which enable the Avia to display each skin's unique hubs. Excellent work!

Great work Jeronimo !

Is this mod compatible with HSFX 6.0 ?
Lots of planes work normally, except the Fw 189, where the wheels are enterely black with no texture. :(
Is there a solution, or i missed something?
Thanks

Thanks, I have not tried in HSFX 6 in 4.11 worked properly.

I check Fw-189 when I have a moment (not that you lost something, probably be a mistake of mine) :( Sry.

If that is what is referred to in you can modify to your liking.

Or you can add textures for a particular plane.

Anyway I was thinking about doing an overhaul of the Mod. The problem is that now I don't have much time. :(

I don't know anything about mapping a 3D model, so this might be a silly question, but is it possible to map the wheel's hub/rim to the plane's skin file? The reason I ask is that a unit or specific pilot might've had colored wheels, or some USN navy fighters sometimes painted their wheels Sea Blue, etc. If it's too difficult, having identical wheels is a small price to pay for the extra immersion these add to the game. Thanks to you, Jeronimo and Barnsey for all your hard work. :)

You read the thought? :o

I took a couple of days with the same idea in your head, because if I am not mistaken it is possible, and to that I meant when I said in the previous post wanted to do an overhaul of the Mod.

I've been thinking to keep tires of the Mod and maybe inner face of the disc, because they have better definition than the ones that come in the skins, the outer face, depending on the model of the skin or of the Mod would generic for that model.

I'll have that do some test. Already tell you.  ;)

Jero.

yeah man, some of the generic skins just don't match the planes, they look like lorry wheel textures more than aircraft ones, I could try and give a hand, send me a PM and I'll try and help :-)
