Very interesting information there.  I hope I am not being too demanding, but may I ask is it at all possible to adapt one of your stand-in cockpits for use in the Henschel Hs 123?   Currently the flyable one is using the CR-42 cockpit, which tends to break any great sense of immersion, and I have noticed that some of yours would seem to fit quite nicely.

I really second that superb idea of making "DBW 1936". Now with DreamK's all aircraft it feels completely logical. Besides maps and aircraft it could also include SP/ES folders, speech packs, perhaps even skins and campaign - a complete bundle!  ;D

Good Idea, Poltava. I'd d/l it in a nanosecond. Hell, I'd even register on 4shared, which is my least favorite d/l site.

PS: good luck with your current Madrid campaign. I look forward to the d/l. I'm re-doing the Canaries campaign where I used the Swordfish, and S328 as stand ins. Now the player gets a Potez 25TOE. Next up is the Santander campaign. It's good to go except for the skin folder.

cheers

Just arrived from my vacations, still on my jet lug, but having time just to start downloading and trying all the marevellous work this amazing team has made in the last days. It's incredible the rithm and quality of this mass production. If Republicans had this efficiency in serial production of aircraft, they had won the war for sure. ;)
I only expected to find some of these great planes in my most crazy dreams, but they are coming true. ;D
Thanks a lot to all involved.

Have tried all the two seaters (what a great work), all of them flying great. May be Hispano E-30 too fast as said in its thread, also Breguet XIX a bit too fast and maneovrable, if we listen to Tinker's and Lacalle's complaints, but no great problem.
The only thing for me is that I cannot access to any of the gunner positions, which I consider quite important in a two seater. Is this only a problem in my end?  gunner cockpits aren't finished yet?
May be there's a special trick to shift to gunner's position that I don't know. I have no problems with other two seaters in game, though.

PS: I post it here and not in specific threads because it happens in all the models in this batch.

Hi, juanmalapuente. I guess it will be fixed sooner, or later. I hadn't even thought of trying to access the gunner positions.

I have done a bunch of SCW two seater missions. One for the SCW. It's 90% finished. Just needs a skin pack, and a final test. The other one is for the same planes as flown by different countries. So theres a Dutch Koolhoven, and Fokker, a Greek Potez etc.

PS  In the Balaerics campaign, the Republicans bombed Palma etc. Did they use Potez 540s? Or did they just use two seaters?

cheers

As a matter of fact they used Savoia S-62 seaplanes over Palma, and Vildebeest - the first intervention of the Italian delievred Fiat Cr32 in the SCW was to attack these S-62

Republicans used Dornier Wal too, as bomber and transport. The Italian sent 3 Savoia-55 before the CR-32 arrival. They only made a couple of bombing raids but had a deffinitive moral effect in Republican militias invading Mallorca. The Republican S-62 damaged one of them and the other two returned to Italy. Then, the chirris came and invasion was over. This was the main scenary of floatplanes along the whole war, and would be great to have such different models in game.
Floatplanes were used also in the first month of war in the air bridge to cross the Straight, by Nationalist, and weirdly enough, to bomb Saragosse, by the Republican, who sent S-62 for this purpose, when they were using all they had to bomb Aragonesse front. They used reservoirs to land and refuel in Aragon.

Thanks, Dreamk. The S62 looks quite like a Walrus. And, there's a Republican skin for it.  It would be fairly credible as a stand in. What do you think?

Thanks for that info Juan. According to the ever relaible Wikipedia, the Republicans used the Macchi M 18 to bomb Majorca. The one in DBW 1916 would be a good substitute. I have the d/l links for it. It does work in DBW1.71.  The Walrus would be a credible stand in for the S62. The S55, would just have to be alluded to. Unless the WIP Dornier arrives. That bit about landing in resevoirs sounds resourceful. I presume the Nationalists were flying from the eastern most island. Mahon, isn't it?

cheers

Lovely version of the poster. I've seen the poster in many sizes, but never the complete image with handwriting and signature ... thanks ...
