The Str2FloatClamp error has been plaguing Il2 since its beginning - it's a memory problem error. The ways of correcting it are different for everyone who get stuck with it - first check taht you have the correct prs sound files (the sas modact base sound pack is ok) then that you have no spurrious "eff" effect files running (they consume a lot of memory sometimes) then check whether you have another programm running besides Il2, then the memory setting of your graphic card  then....but maybe begin by that, change the map you are flying on in Il2, some of these maps are so dense in objetcs and so heavy that they make you crash very easily....

Following your recommendation I changed maps, sounds mod, graphic card setting but without success.

I compared hashed file F41DAB12104ADF84 of the 2nd link (patche) with the hashed file F41DAB12104ADF84 of first link and I can't see any difference by using file compare soft.
Did you update your first link with this patche?

First I have to tell you this is a dream for me, SCW in IL2!!!

Unfortunately I have the same problem as Danyfly, DBW 1.71 and Ni.52. Everything looks right in the folder and air.ini, and I don't have any conflict on classes, but I can't load the game beyond 20%.

Any advice about it?

Of course all the others are working perfectly.

Sorry to be a headache , but I can't this plane get working.

This Internal error:Str2FloatClamp persist in, even if prs sound files are from SAS and Il2 running alone in the computer. Also I don't see any problem in the memory of graphic card (2x GeForce GTX 480).

Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

I tried again different combination yesterday but without 
Nieuport 52 always crash at 20%, it's very strange because all your other planes Dreamk are working smoothly!

try an run classcheck to see whether there is a conflict between these files and another mod - but it seems more probable that some file is lacking or corrupted in your install - you must have the following in your directory \Nieuport-Delage 52:

Thank you very much for your help Dreamk, I couldn’t find any conflict between classes with classcheck.

Also the files in the folder Ni52 agree in name, number and size with yours.

I will try in a DBW clean installation, it is my last hope.

Even with a clean DBW 7.1 I can't go beyond 20%  , I don't have any clue about it.

Soooo today is a historic day for me, this is the first time that I can not install a mod since its inception in 2007.  ???

Ok then you are going to do the following - the only way to identify whether a file causes a problem - add the files in your "nieuport-delage 52" directory one after another, and start each time the DBW and see wether it crashes at 20% (=java files crash)

Following your recommendation, I tried step by step and this crashe at 20% occurs when I include java file 4184974ACC16B188.

Have you copied first the file F41DAB12104ADF84 from https://www.mediafire.com/?2n7p6yd6kasbuf7 instead of the original one?

Yes, I tried this UP3 fix F41DAB12104ADF84 but problem is the same.
