I will say this... Picture was not needed... yet what you said seemed true.

In my personal opinion, and this is what *I* think, (I could be, and probly am wrong), that he posts pictures of nice things that he has, and can play with whenever he wants to, yet we cant have them. or even the 3d models, and what he used to get them into the game in the first place.

I will comment on some of his projects, which AMT were involved in. The F9F Cougars were at an advanced stage of completion and unless GJE52 responds to my PMs, I have recruited someone to finish off the last few bits of 3D work preventing their release.

For the Hunters, different story. The LOD0 model was basically done and a beta slots completed for the family (Models were Mk1, Mk4, Mk6 and FGA9). At this stage we (Aviator Mod Team) have no firm plans regarding working on these but we would have to reassess the 3D situation before continuing work. Unfortunately GJE52 never shared any later versions of the Hunter 3D or the sources with anyone, so it's likely this project might die if the existing imported 3D isn't viable.

*BUMP*

I had a chat to GJE52 via PM today. For those interested, he has decided to take a break from Il-2 for now. This is a consequence of an argument a few weeks ago within the admin area (regarding a few issues, including agreements with other sites and compatibility with mods etc). Following this, he has opted to take a break from the public eye of Il-2 and presumably (he hasn't stated this), his 3D projects are on hold.

Until he returns, we shall leave it at that.
