Ah, the old "two weeks" thing again. :) I'll wait. :)

Yes but I really mean 2 weeks.

Need to adjust the texture so the bright parts appear less bright in game.

EDIT: I saw your reply. Np m8, I was the one that talked about 2 weeks 8)

Diving_Hawk:

I'm so looking forward to you releasing this ship. I'm already getting the information together to paint 'er up in Measure 32 Design 1A for 1944.

Lightning issues fixed.
LOD0 and LOD1 done.
Now doing collision and shadows for main parts.

Also the portholes from hull are gone since as Gofo was kind enough to let me know the portholes were removed at the first refit at 1944.(and as you can guess that's when Iowa class came into play more or less).

LOD3 is being made.

I will show more progress after this week, when I will officially go on "holiday mode" and have some more time.

LODs of basic model are done.
Pretty soon I'll start work on the damage model. My plan is to have a few 3d-holes on deck + molten steel bars like Yamato but also some dead sailors in the area so it really looks like hell as the real ships looked after severe damaging.

I will give an option not to use the last cause obviously I understand it might not be to everyone's taste.

I needed to chk the new look ingame so I thought: "Hang on this is a sim. If you are going there at least go with a boat to make things realistic."
So I chose a boat that would be able to fight this thing and here's new look from nose:

Wow – 2 super-heavy weights standing toe to toe, doesn’t get much more impressive than that!  8)

Distant LODs are completed. Collision is completed. Damage models starting.
1st pic in cross is from ingame flight the others from FMB.

Just showing distant lods at various angles and distances

PS( My monitor is less than 17 inch so it does not do proper credit ot the pics. Use your imagination for rest)
