S!

 Seems ATI is on the right track with their drivers, did some "black death track frenzy" with various graphical settings, mainly mods like Uranium, clouds etc. The best result so far I got with these new 10.3a + 9.10dll in IL-2 folder are as below, using settings I have posted on this page.

 Minimum 27fps
 Maximum 313fps
 Average 103fps

@Flanker35M

Switched to 10.3a yesterday and your conf.ini/CCC settings but had a problem with the destruction brush in FMB not working.
In destruction view/mode the destructable areas were not shown in green/brown/red/black but all in grey and pressing 'F' + leftmouse (brush) didn't work. Switched back to my old conf.ini all was working again. Have to figure out which setting caused this problem.

S!

 You might have to use Texture Compression, either from IL2Setup put S3TC on or in conf.ini the TexCompress=2 and UseTExCompress=1. Might help.

TexCompress didn't help but caused other issue on screen resolution (....). Additonally i have the wellknown 'large mouse cursor' issue with 10.3a. Especially when working with Photoshop the size of the mouse cursor enlarges very much, ATI fixed this since 9.12 with a hotfix for each driver. So i will have to wait  for 10.3 final and the hotfix release.

S!

 HansHansen, the 10.3's work if you use 9.10 dll in IL2 folder. The IL2 problem is mentioned in the 10.3 release notes so it is being worked on :D

Looks like vertex arrays can be used with 10.3 and no pink or purple shading.

S!

 It is not me to thank, but all the people who have filed the Feedback Form with detailed info :) An effort by all of us. I did use the newly released OpenGL 4.0 drivers. They had a tad newer Display Driver and of course this new OGL version. Blocky text was still there, but need to test the Vertex Array thing. In all drivers above 9.10 the blue hue is there when firing guns when vertex arrays are enabled. Will check with these new ones.
