and i have catalyst at 2x anti-aliasing, Adaptive anti-aliasing at performance, antiostropic at 2x, disabled catalyst AI, mipmap high quality, with triple buffering. I'm using a 4870x2 with the very newest drivers. However, the last time i reverted from drivers 10.2 to drivers 9.10 something got corrupted that made Il-2 completely unplayable, and I'd rather live with the game looking and performing beautifully like it has and deal with the campaign menus freaking out than risk reverting again because last time the only way to fix the problem was to completely redo windows 7 and start from scratch :-S. I remember this issue popping up a long time ago, but it seems so long ago now that the discussion section on AAA (this was well before I knew of this site, maybe even well before this site period) that the original thread has been buried in the 50 pages of il-2 tech threads there... anyway, I will say that interestingly enough it seems to be the worst when i fly whole missions. If i just fly a short mission or just start and close a mission, it doesn't seem to flicker and hide the mouse or debriefing screen as much...
