And I thought it was just me having the flashing prop and flashes in the windscreen.  I know there will be a fix sooner or later so I'll just be happy that the blockey text is fixed.

Can't believe it, they broke drivers once again...just tried official 10.6 drivers and text/on-screen menu corruption is still present like in beta version. Tsss they took 6 months to fix this problem (10.5 drivers) and now f*cked them again.

Try the drivers out, and see if your current issues are dealt with! Report back with opinions, problems, and advantages for Ati to see.

I am currently on 10.5, and have no problems at all on max settings at 1920*1200 res, using the 4870 1gb with flashed bios.

As I said, I say again, the solution for old opengl games is a nVidia card, unfortunately.

I installed the new 10.6 drivers and using the 9-10atioglxx.dll again. works for blocky text.

Im curently using 10.6 and have the blocky text. Im using the 9.10atiogl.dll to fix that.
There is a thread concerning ATI Drivers in the Tech Help Section.

Strange, I do not have blocky text. I did not know that there was Tech Help section as it is hidden somewhere. lol. I will report there.

Blocky text was corrected in 10.5, I'm currently using that in my HD5850 without any probs at máximum settings. Are you sure 10.6 returned to the problem? That will be very sad news...
