Ok, these are the latest working atioglxx.dll's (from 10.5 drivers):

10-5_vista64_win7_64
10-5_vista32_win7_32
10-5_xp64
10-5_xp32

Installation:
1) Install latest ATI drivers (10.6 as of now)
2) Extract atioglxx.dll from archive (un-rar) and put it in your IL-2 root folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946)


This is the best solution for text/on-screen menu corruption, until ATI get their act together

No, these are from catalyst suites, but atioglxx.dll should also be in Driver Only download. Anyway you need to expand atioglxx first, to use it

Yes, thank you for the DLL's. I am going to try to make my own driver pack, so I can install 10.6 but with 10.5dll.

Hello once again,

didn't know there's a 10.6 out now. 10.5 solved blocky text and the flickering/flashing issue when firing guns. But sometimes canopy and other glass parts as well as prop discs are completely disappearing now. Props are flashing/flickering sometimes too, especially when viewed from the cockpit. Enabling Catalyst A.I. didn't solve this for me. It's a pity with those damned catalyst drivers...

My system: I7-860, XFX 5870, 8 GB, win 7 home premium 64

Great news, ATI fixed text/on-screen menu corruption once again, so you can remove atioglxx.dll from your IL-2 dir. 

You can download drivers (10.7 Beta OpenGL ES 2.0 ) from this site: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU74ATICat107PreviewDriver.aspx

Anyway, these drivers are newer than official 10.7 (should be out soon).

 According to Rage3D website Terry Makedon from ATI has said something about 26th or 27th of July as release date...so keep fingers crossed

I can confirm, text/on-screen menu corruption is fixed
