Y'know, mikoyan mentioned that his Me-509 is essentially this plane with the cockpit farther forward.

Maybe someone could take the -509 mod and move back the cockpit to the mid-section of the aircraft. Just a thought.....

Not sure moving the cockpit will be enough. It will need to get the exhausts moved forward, the same with the air intake for the super charger, main wheels moved rearwards more to the center of the wing, and a different prop cone. But maybe it worth the effort.





Anyway is a great looking plane. Mikoyan said it's on his to-do list. Not sure he's still active.

The 109 fuselage could be a starting point, but needs meshwork and remapping to get close, here is a scaled comparison with the 109 meshes ..
