question about ed_m01.tga, and how to add missing the lake

Hi Guys

I finally manage to download data for microdem, and create map with i want to do,but on DEM is missing lake, so I should paint this lake on Map_C or Map_H ?? or on both ??
And next question is, How you guys add roads on ed_m01.tga ?? you paint them ?? If yes, how you manage  too paint them in the same position to the map ?  ???

Please help  ::)

1. Missing lake should be added to Mymap_c.tga.
2. Roads may be extracted from map_T.tga into separate layer, as selections of proper RGB values, then after colouring them, placed into ed_m02.tga, which is the same size as map_T.tga. File ed_m02.tga is then sized up to ed_m01.tga.
There was also a program called decompose.exe, which extracts the individual RGB objects from map_T.tga, but this program sometimes refuses to work properly, and its author does not respond to emails so far.
