Hi Jeronimo, I just thought of three more if you get the time. The Halifax,Lancaster and the Wellington. They could use some cowling work. :)
Thanks.

There are still some models made ??the list CrazyFlak, https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=25142.96 fewer but my intention was to finish and keep others that I have to my eye, but I put on the list Bombs.

Also I have intention to thoroughly review the Mod Wheels.

Jero.

For 4.09 rebels !
If you want the finest engines + fix propeler for Ju-88A-4 & A-4Torp... try this
Note for users of this DIY!
3D exterior is that of the 410!
To avoid having the landing gear wheels that go in all directions I had to convert the code 410 in code 409. This is mandatory! I respected calls for 409 cockpits while code 410 uses other cockpits.
Work fine in my UP2.01 !
These Class must be the first and only to be loaded.
The only that will work are those that I have provided... If this tinkering does not work I can not help it. You may have another mod that interferes!
0999D73E6832F852 = Class Ju-88A-4torp (code 410 converted)
CC160FD07686D4CC = Class Ju-88A-4 (code 410 converted)
109318BAC491765C = Mother-Class JU_88NEW_410 - This Class coming from the 410 was created to make sure it will not disrupt the same Class used for Ju-88C-6 (4.09) !

Yes, all other meshes except engines and props are there because of my LOD fix for SBD and La series. The SBD LOD fix is already included in UP3/DBW (so engines and props only are actually needed in UP3/DBW), but La LOD fix is new. Stock SBD disappeared too close, so I gave her TBF LOD values. In La series I didn't want to see those thick wings in LODs anymore that were way too visible and made distance judgements difficult when chasing them or when they attacked you in your six.

P-47 released!
« Reply #511 on: August 08, 2012, 05:21:19 PM »

Hello all!

PA_Jeronimo enjoys his holiday now, but just before leaving he sent me some great engines for testing and fine-tuning. He also asked me to release them when I think they are ready for release.

So, here is something for you:
P-47 cowling and prop mod with detailed 3D engine:

All UP3/DBW variants are included together with N and late D. P-47B now has correct engine geometry and cowl flaps, but skins are not yet adapted for it, so there is some skinning work to do. We hope to see some adapted P-47B templates, skins and default skins soon.

Download: http://koti.mbnet.fi/raukorpi/P-47_engine_prop.7z

Installing: Just unpack to your mod folder and make sure they load before your other P-47 mods. I tested in DBW, but I don't know any possible compatibility issues yet with any IL-2 version.

Update (24.8.2012): New version uploaded that fixes the texture compatibility problem with Gerd's F8F.

Credits:
- PA_Jeronimo did the 3D modeling work using Gerd's F8F 3D engine and texture with his permission. Thanks a lot!
- I only fine tuned them to release condition, fixed some smoothing and other bugs (like gap between fuselage and engine in bubbletop variants), and gave useful feedback and information during development.
- Original IL-2 development team and many modders (101tfs, Kumpel, Freddy, Crazyflak, Riken etc.) allowed us to have all these variants in IL-2, so credits also for them.

I wish you happy time flying the updated "Jug"!

P.S. Engines for P-47C are also included with lower cowl flaps removed, but they are unused until someone makes new slot for P-47C. Anyone interested can use them to create P-47C mod.

Thank you so much for the swell job on the P-47. You've made the "Jug" look great!

 :)  Another dream come true!! You guys are great.  This P-47 fix is an exact fulfillment of a request I made in the request area a couple of years ago - plus the engine part too.  Magnificent.

It's beautiful.
