Guzknife, how'd you get the texture to match up on the B-26? Re-mapping?

Also, I'm having a bit of trouble with the P-47D-27:

... no remapping is needed ...  ;)

Only replace the B26 prop files with the P47D 10 ones, for ex...

Like that:

1) Prop1_D0.msh and Prop1_D1.msh from P47 to B26

2) copy and rename the content of 1) to Prop2_D0.msh and Prop2_D1.msh (because the B26 is a twin engine ...)

3) add file PropellorF.mat from P47

4) add halted2.tga, halteduscg.tga and haltedushg.tga from the "textures" P47 to the B26 "textures" folder

5) add/replace the PropRot1_D0.msh and PropRot2_D0.msh from the P47 to the B26

... done ...!  :P

... just delete the "blister" file ...  ;)

Thanks, mix. For both fixes. Just a question, but does this importing of props work for all planes? And does the propeller change to the right size, if the plane uses a smaller or a larger one?

It should work if the other plane has the same type and size of prop ...  ;)

And does the propeller change to the right size, if the plane uses a smaller or a larger one?

... unfortunately no ...  :(

That's a shame. Oh well. Do you think the B-24 and B-17 have the same size props?

That of the B-17 used the texture of the skin, can not be used with the B-24, to map again.

... you're much too kind with me, Guzknife, I'd rather call this "trial and error" ...  :P

There's a prob though, the spinners still wobble (side view) ...  ::( ... which was already the case before ...

May be Jero, our hero, will apply some of his magic to that ...  ;)

I do not understand English, but here the title of the post tells me we're talking about Fix engines cowlings and prop´s but no wheels!

New wheels for F9F2 exist in the post dedicated to new wheels!
