U-Boot with torpedoes V2

First of all, you need the PT Boat:

that now works in all versions using the Auto DiffFM of Benitomuso:

then you can make the PT-Boat to become a U-Boot

-see below for patch to V2




Install:
make a backup of your "PT-Boat" folder that is in   Boat /3do /plane   and replace it with that of U-Boot download


...and send convoys to seabed  :P




NOTE:
To avoid torpedo fail you must launch torpedoes at 30 Km/h max and keeping a straight course !!!

Thank's for this but the boat skin look quite messed up like it has wrong template or something like that might you know solution for this

I just re-downloaded both folders, installed in my DBW 1.7.1 and they work, so I'm obliged to make assumptions...sorry...
The PT-Boat is build around a Japanese seaplane, the A6M2-N, if I'm not wrong, so I suppose that if there is an airplanes visual mod, like a 3d fix, that contains .tga or hier.him, this mod can create a conflict.

Interesting mod, but if the picture is correct, the U-Boat is riding a bit high in the water if it's supposed to be fully on the surface.

Cruising U-Boats rode a lot lower in the water.

Well I think this is just a seaplane that is unable to takeoff (FM tweaks) and has the 3do of a U-boot/PT Boat. So I doubt that it would possible to tweak this, as seaplanes do ride high on the water :)

This all seems too complicated.
Why not just use spare ship slot Ship0, Ship1, Ship2, Ship3 or Ship4
Then add Torpedo as a weapon.
-- or add 4 Torpedo tubes with slight angle on each to create spread.

U-Boat model will sit correctly on the water surface this way.

I have corrected the hier.him and the hull2.msh, so now it is floating at right height (see first post)  ;)

WHEN I TRY TO LOAD U-BOAT IN QUICK MISSION ..SEE WHAT HAPPEN!!  WHERE IS THE BROBLEM??
