Actually I need the map from Trondheim vaernes aerport to Bardufoss aerport. The map of Narvik is not helpful at all with no historical airports.
It was many interesting airbattles from Trondheim to Narvik, among them the first aerial kill for England done by a Skua against A HE-111
And the Hurrycane squadron from Bardufoss witch refused to destoy theyre aircrafts and rather attempted to land on HMS Glorious , witch they successfully did and perished when it sunk in the North Sea.

SRTM height data for northern Europe can be found here:
http://www.viewfinderpanoramas.org/dem3.html#eurasia

I have not used this source so cannot comment on how to download or use it, or on the quality if the data. I believe that others have already used it for IL2 maps.

Check this map out.

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,3922.0.html

I haven't loaded it up myself , but I nabbed it last year while lamenting that I couldn't find  a map that better reflected this  theatre at somewhere near 1:1 (I know it's huge) scale including southern Norway (to Trondheim , roughly) and included the northern tip of Denmark (Aalborg) , a slice of Sweden(Goteborg), and the Faroe Islands to Scapa Flow and Banff/Dallachy/Aberdeen.

I'd love if anyone gets it to see the map in an image here at SAS.

Just to put this request in context here is the area of the existing Norway map marked in blue.
I would love to see more maps of Norway but don't underestimate the work involved if the quality of the existing map is to be matched.

Extending the existing map towards Andalsnes would provide a useful area and also cover Romsdal with all its scenic interest.
