HMS E class destroyers

The E class destroyers is representative of the British class destroyers to the thirties, during IIWW played the role of close escort of convoys and fleet mainly it is the North Sea and the Mediterranean, after 43 were increasingly used for second-line duties.
The class E is very similar to the previous A / B / C / D and the following  F (her sisters with mission ASW) and G / H.

Also used in the Far East....... HMS "Electra" and HMS "Encounter" were sunk during the Battle of the Java Sea, and  HMS "Electra" and HMS "Express" were part of Force Z during its ill-fated sortie.
