Had an idea the other day to make these for the p-38. Ambulance converted droptanks, can anyone tell me what capacity droptanks they are or are they completely new?

I dunno but immersion and for the sheer hell of it are the first things that come to mind.

Some better shots of the tanks.

The Raf were not alone in carrying " Booze" in drop tanks.
The US also used P-51's over the "Hump" whose tanks would carry Gin.
Regards Duggy.
