TBH the P-38 is one of the few allied planes whose sound i like...cant stand the other's (even merlin)  :D
About these tanks, well if I had something to drink, to eat and a few pillows in there...I'd enjoy the ride :D Of course only with window, never ever without one  :o

That sure looks claustrophobic! I'd imagine it would be extremely loud in those tanks as well, being so close to the props and engines.
It would be an interesting experience, but I think it would be a very uncomfortable flight!

My opinion, for what it's worth is that this is the sort of thing that would be a great addition to the sim. After all, we are all about variety here aren't we - I can't think of any other sim ever made that would allow a player to do a rescue mission carrying the victims in under wing pods!!! :)
