Ok, perhaps this is an example of unnecessary eye candy but what the hell...can't hurt to ask.

It might be fun if, while bringing in your stricken bomber you could fire an emergency flare so that once you're down in whatever condition, a few emergency vehicles drive over; fire tender, ambulance, whatever else...sirens wailing, of course.

Personally, I'd add nurses leaping out of the ambulance to administer sponge baths but that might be pushing it.

I've always like the idea of a "request emergency landing" in the commands file, that way you don't have to wait for the rest of the pack to land......

Or how about being able to tell your flight to land at nearest non enemy airfield.
