Requesting a Pushback Feature
« on: May 16, 2012, 07:18:00 PM »

=S= everyone!

So lets say you've taxied to the edge of the deck of an Aircraft carrier during a coop mission, well darn, no way to put it in reverse to get out of this situation. Well hey here's an idea, why not feature a pushback command specifically for these unique situations?

How about it?

I think when you fire your main guns/cannons, you'll be pushed back :D

What happens when it's not your coop and they don't have unlimited ammo selected?

not a pushback... a pushback only pushes you backwards. you also need to control your plane direction.
what about a reverse gear command? inverted prop or engine, at lesser efficiency (10%?)
-only when on the ground (in the air or on landing approach that would be cheating)
-only when chocks set
-when in reverse mode, no activa damage boxes (crowded carrier deck... no need to kill everyone on it)

Sorry the Pushback term came from a Flight sim with no combat errr (FSX) (Cough)...
any way just thought it could be useful. yes a reverse gear, you know "beep beep beep beep" Reverse backing her up in the hangar, stand clear!

For inverted prop did that have that back then? I've heard of reverse thrust but you know that may be too modern for these guys. So I simply said push back for just the simple alignment error tis all.

yea, i do not know if either system existed, and i agree it is kind of "unhistorical".

But there is nobody to push your Wildcat around on a Carrier, and so we need some other form of "beep beep beep"
:)
