A little bit of work to do to get this to work in DBW.

Best to enable it through JSGME as it replaces 'JU52 3mg3'

1. Change SM-81 folder name to 00_SM-81 so it loads before any JU52 3mg3 mod you may have.

2. Inside 00_SM-81 folder create a new '3do' folder.

3. Move PLANE and COCKPIT folder into new 3do folder.

4. Inside PLANE folder decide which version you want to fly and change that folder name to 'JU-52_3MG3E'.

That should get it in the air.

A bit of alteration to the original JU-52_3MG3E class file should have this as a new slot but I certainly wont get round to that today - RL is a real bummer

Cheers - Redfox

Worth its own slot, I think...

A nice addition. As the first post says, they were obsolete by the time of WWII but they were still put to good use in the transport role.

Yes, really worth its own slot. It was used in all theatres of war that the Italian airforce was active in. A real workhorse.

This mod is a gap-filler!

:)A very nice gap-filler I must say. Good job!  my own SM81 and Br20 will be released only later this summer with the other SCW heavies - I like grouping a few related planes together to release then as a "batch" - but before that Spanish skies are going to be filled with a few more planes.... ;) (No, not in 2 weeks time...let's say.....less than that  ;D) )

Too many new goodies and so few time to play with them...
Anyway, while I bite my nails waiting for the new two seaters, I got this nice fatty plane flying. Since UP wasn't friendly for me (I followed the readme, so folders to be deleted were deleted, that wasn't the problem) I followed Redfox's advice and tryed DBW. Only it's not necesary to rename SM81 folder, since JU-52 3mg3e is already included in DBW.

It really would be great to have it as a separate slot, to put both JU523mg3e and SM81 simoultaneously in missions.

Hi Dreamk. It looks like I'll have to do another 3-4 two seater missions so the entire pack is ready. No problem. I'll start after work. On Saturday I went out to a progressive dinner. I think I gave a good impression of someone who has a life and a job. I've also done a mission for the upcoming Camel and Triplane. One is a mirror of the other. Oh, there is also one for the new P40K.

this is a truly wonderful looking model and it deserves its own slot. i'd be very thankful to anyone who creates one for this plane!

Hi mojojojo. I should have been more specific. I meant the Fokker DrI that is part of the P-40, jet etc pack.

cheers
