Also the exhaust texture (the flat one, not particle effect) is displayed for right engine, depending on it's setup. The left on is just a copy of the right. If the right engine is on 90% and left on e.g. 50% the left engine uses the bright, 90% thrust texture of the right one, instead of darker one.

Yeah, I have this problem with all the twin engine jets. But it isn't very important.

Yup, I noticed it in F-4E too. The bigger issue is an engine failure at 50% difference in thrust. I have really no idea why it happens, none of the other 2-engined jets have this problem.

1st and 2nd issues are both java related. The exhaust texture is actually ONE mesh so the appear, disappear together. And engine related is part of the "engine surge" code. I use what already exist. I haven't have much time experiment with different code. Sorry  :(

...with Version v1,1, in DBW1,7 ...'wildly' flipping out of control then full recovery, a small video !  8)

Note: this aircraft was flown with cockpit closed, 100% sure, but ntrk shoes all the Mig-19 with cockpits open, sadly...  :(

Thanks a lot for this wonderfull ongoing mod, free modding team and S3 !  ;D

I think that was done with "stalls and spins" off. haven't ever been able to do a maneuver like that without going into a flan spin of "recovery? is that a thing?"

The new FM update is awesome! now nosewheel-up takeoff run after rotation could be done, sadly there`s still the tailstrike explosion, be it so in real life, many newbies would die a shattered death in a fireball at the end of their first solo~could we try to add a tailskid to the A/C if it`s not too much bother?

I exploded on my first take-off, then a slow rotation on the next one and bingo. Gently pull back on the stick and let the plane do the rest.

Yes?that will do the trick, however, Real MiG-19/J-6s/Q-5s will not explode from almost any kind of "normal" (belly fin)tailstrike~

Thanks for nice plane and skins!

For starting, this is a MiG-19S/J-6/F-6 Variants. MiG-19P/PM/PFM will follow shortly.

Any news about WIP P/PM versions?

1. AI don't explode when they hit runway with tail during take-off/landing.
2. In B-29 you can hit runway with tail during take-off/landing, and if you're gentle it won't blow off.
3. Isn't it possible to make an extra gear point of bottom fin? I'm pretty sure I saw it done this way in some A/C...

1. Never seen them hit the runway...probably too small impact. When you hit it its probably with much more force.
2. B-29 is way stronger. Its simply that the game, when a certain degree of damage is reached, makes the plane blow up. Now this degree of damage is higher for the B-29...
3. Probably possible, but you just need to be careful on takeoff. Dont trim too much, let it lift on its own. This is not your average porop fighter :P

1. AI live in a much simplier world than players do.
2. 2 possibilities: there is no _clip there or the tail amor value is really high. I can move up the _clip of the MiG-19 a little bit though. But you'll see the tail sunk into the ground.
3. Currently not possible, I haven't seen any aircraft with more than 3 gears.

3 main gears and two small wheels at bottom end of tail fins.
