Guys, V2.03 is out, it's Optional!

Update:

Modified radar code as discussed a few threads back (increase playablity and realism):

1/radar now should work online.

2/Fixed tracking mode. players will no longer be able to switch target, they stay with what ever it track at the beginning. if player lost target, they will have to switch back to scan mode before they can re-acquire or acquire another target. still one little draw back is that target still switch automatically if tracked aircraft is completely destroyed (air explosion). If radar enter ground clutter during tracking, players need to switch back to scan mode before tracking again.

There are also minor 3d changes and FM (more responsive elevator).

Guys, V2.03 is out, it's Optional!
I went to the first page and it says 2.02 now I am old wear glasses did not see a note stating version 3.

No confusion just mis marked. Now I am having a ball with the mig19 and with these latest updates they are getting better.

@Mati140: I have further developed a "radar ray" implementation that works like this: If there is no target, radar will acquire a target that fall within the radar zone (between the 2 horizontal lines). once target is acquired, radar track zone is immediately narrowed, set to move in a way that it will always point at the tracked target. But this movement is very limited, so any drastic maneuver will lead to target lost, which will need to be reacquire again. So when the target is destroyed, there will be no target within the narrowed lock zone and radar will stop tracking. Player will need to switch back to scan mode to acquire another target (If you want, I can implement that player need to wait at least 30 second after switching back to scan mode before they can use track mode again). However, even if the original target is completely destroyed but there happen to have a target in the tracking zone, radar will continue tracking the new target (old radar can't tell new target from old target, as long as it's in the zone, it'll track).

I hope that this will bring more realism to gameplay with radar. I'm still fiddling with the code, will post a new update soon.

2.04 is out, sorry for these mini updates.

I've fixed the radar as stated above, hopefully for the last time now. Full explanation on how to use radar is updated at first post.

I've also removed guns on most loadout (stating which loadout that will have guns). So that any hardcore simmer will have a more realistic and joyful flight.

Gonna test it out and give you feedback.

As for 30s delay, where did you get that info? Or is it your own idea? BC if it's the later, I don't think with so many real life limitations of RP-21 there is any reason to implement the artificial ones. I mainly focused on radar screen pictures and explanations on how the screen works from those links, so I may have missed this.

I guess I have another problem. Sorry about this, I am just completely noob with these things. It is about the radar screen. When I first time tested this plane, it was filled with some random "+" marks and my game freezed after flying couple of minutes. I guess that it is not normal, right? Or am I missing something important? I hope that it is not something stupid like it was last time... I checked the logfile:

1. Is that green /grey camo skin with red triangles in blue circles available?  The one above the 6032 screenshot . 2.  Did someone ever post a brown camo Bulgarian MiG-19 skin . I searched my skin files and swore I had one for the MiG-19.
