Please find the skin above arranged as default one. Put it into Your Arsenal folder and overwrite existing files.
The plane remains fully skinnable.

Can someone please explain to me  how/what program this is done by  :'(
"The file needs to be converted to bmp 256c and put into your paintschemes/skins/VG33/.. folder in order to be used !"

i use irfanview for this.
Me too ! Irfanview is very EZ to use. ...reduce color depth and save as bmp
( without color depth reduction, saving gives 3mb bmp; with color depth applied, now save is 1mb bmp. ).  ;)
Click 'image' tab then select 'decrease color depth', OK, save as bmp:
