Jets Essex class carrier landing run in 4.09

Hello. I was wondering if the strenght of the arrestor wires could be increased so that
jets, F9F Panther in this case, could stop before the bridge on Essex class carriers.

As can be seen in this video ,
Panthers land as far as number 3 elevator....
