F4U Cockpit 3D Armor fix

Is there a 3D modder out there that would like to make a difference on the F4U Cockpit...
The overhead sheild, above and behind the pilots head is a chunky/blocky/ugly sight which kills the rest of the lovely cockpit.
Is it possible to round the edges of this monstrosity?
I would be very grateful :) :) :)

Its ok Flak. No hurry. :) As fara as the shield, I thought the problem was it was blocking his view. Thats why I suggested a POV adjustment but yes, if its an issue of its ugly then I see your point. :)

yes defianitely because it is ugly...the rest of the cockpit is awesome, shame no-one ever gave this part some of the love.
I am tempted to look up how to do it myself. Cant be too hard...shawlly?

I will add a +10 for this, with the latest F4U cockpit repaint from here https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,25617.0.html and all the great cowling and droptank etc. 3D fixes flying the Corsair has never been better, until you look over your shoulder or above you  :o a fix to give a more rounded look would be really appreciated and "finish" off all the other superb work  ;D
All it would then need, is a rounding of those octagonal yellow "cockpit canopy" knobs, and as far as immersion killers it would be almost perfect  :)
