Volcano Smoke request
« on: June 01, 2012, 11:00:20 PM »

Is it possible to create a "vocano smoke" mod.
The Slot had active volcanoes that often had smoke/steam rising into the heavens.
example here at Rabaul;

just use regular smoke objects from FMB, place them around the place you want your volcano, and there you go...;)

Heres a couple of shots of that...

Not quite the volume of smoke I'm after.
Is it possible to increase the volume of an existing smoke?
Also is it possible to have the smoke blowing across the horizontal axis rather than the vertical?

That smoke looks cool. I like it. If its too dense and big, its a sign that the
Island is going to blow up.... like Atlantis  :P

I would much prefer to see no smoke on the volcano crater (its a sleeping volcano) and
see many diferent smoke fires coming out of the forest around the mountain and on
the Island.
I saw this documentary once about the Pacific Islands and WW2 and while
the airplane was filming flying over the area, a person could see many little smoke-fires
coming off the forest below. A clear sign that tribal people were living there, perhaps
those famous Pacific Island cannibals! It´s true!
There are true stories that they killed Japanese and Allied soldiers and even downed pilots and
ate them...  :-X
