I've got 'new DBW 1916' working at last. The DH2, and FB19 work fine. I'll look at adding the new Farmans later. It's good that some of them are unarmed. Thanks everyone who worked on this.

vpmedia, can you please give the names of skin folders for new planes like Ilya Muromets, Farman family, Airco DH9 and other planes which have been made as independent and not franken anymore, I used some planes before like Ilya Muromets and some Farmans 40 as franken with original skin, but now I don't know how to name skin folder for them.

its the first column of the air.ini, but if you install the skinpacks then you'll have folders for most planes imho

I have updated DBW 1916 Download DBW-1916 update pack v3: . Everything works perfectly until i install patch v4-7z.    Seems to extract ok but when I run DBW 1916 it loads the start up screen to 100% then crashes back to the Selector... HELP. ???

PS.. Is pack v3 the latest update and if not where can I find updates

Try first post.  ( installing pactch4 on v3  is a very bad idea . It's not a 'v4' ). 
get all installed in that order:  v3beta + .1 + .2 + .3b + .4 ---> v3.4 ( = latest )

Thanks  Hubberranz for prompt reply... re-installed everything and made a copy this time. Downloaded the up-dates again. Installed them exactly as directed..All went well till I tried .4. Same problem , Loads up to 100% the crashed back to the selector.... AGGGGHHH.
Ps also downloaded the the skin pack...Can't figure out where that is put when extracted??
