Murdoc, large percent of Skippers work is already in DBW-1916, thats cool.
But I only saw few screens of DreamK's great work.
What do you think, shall I contact him or is that project abandoned?

I know, Max, the hard work that each plane requires and I'm grateful because this is a huge, different project. I only asked that about the design. Now I'm learning how to pilot all planes.

I didnt want to say a lot about WIP projects because theres always the possibility that some real life issues comes up and they dont get released. But in my personal opinion we're looking good for Fokker E.III, Fokker Dr.1 and maybe the Albatros D.III. The Aviatik is ready to include, I removed polish text from the cockpit and made a temporary default skin for it. The Nieuport 28 and the Lohner/Macchi seaplane also got a good chance to get included soon.

Hey fellas, since this has become 'the WW1' thread, might as well post an update regarding a few planes

Fokker E.III: Just sent what is probably the final version of it to Lisek. There is a landing bouncing bug we are trying to resolve (most likely due to a misplaced hook/clip). Anyway this will be out as soon as the bug is fixed.

Fokker Dr.1: Just acquired a cockpit (courtesy of 101tfs). It needs a little adjusting but this aircraft is very close to release.

Albatros D.3: Yes as vpmedia posted, the Albatros that was originally intended for Canvas Knights and made by Magpie, is back in the works It was kindly donated to Aviator Mod Team by Magpie many years ago. Unfortunately we lost the source files and its development stopped. Luckily I dug up a near complete beta which Lisek was able to work off. He has finished making the 3D for the cockpit and will begin texturing soon. It is our intent to get this aircraft in game and to the same standard as the rest of our WW1 projects.

Big thanks to Vpmedia for his excellent work on updating DBW1916 and for his help on the above-mentioned projects.

This is getting so good yall Can't wait for all these new plane are in 1916 and we get some new campaigns.Amazing that this old sim has been given a new life.I was a hardcore Red Baron guy and it took me a long time to switch over to IL2 but i made the switch. Now I can have the best of both worlds. Thanks so much for all the hard work and long hours,I m sure it's a labor of love.

I played Red Baron(1990) too + Rowans Dawn Patrol(1994), long time ago



But my very first favourite game was Blue Max for C64 computer (1983)
